About

What is the most important question you will answer about yourself? Do you know what it is? How will that answer make you feel? Where do you start?

We all have dreams and aspirations, and some of our biggest dreams come about not because of where we were headed, but because of what or whom we found along the way.

Today, Rhonda Olsen lives in a Big City near the Pacific Ocean. It is full of busy people leading busy lives, where she guides her clients and helps them live those lives with strong connections to the joy that inspires their unique passions.

Her own passion for living a life filled with vitality is absolutely infectious, and she is a walking advertisement for her gifts. She enjoys a healthy lifestyle, incorporating fresh air and fitness routines. She is a vibrant, happy, glowing and confidant woman who attracts people to her with her warmth and genuine care. Simply put, Rhonda radiates health and wellbeing, and is the absolute poster-woman for the question “How old do you think I am?”, because – believe me – you will never guess!

Rhonda writes “Each and every one of has a unique potential to create a life beyond imagination – to live with passion and purpose – to achieve all that we want. If you could create your ultimate life, what would it look like? Dream BIG!!! Now, what if you could take that dream and turn it into your reality? What’s holding you back? By focusing on making some subtle shifts, you can start creating the life you want today.”

It wasn’t always this way. Rhonda grew up in a small Alberta town in the 1970s and ‘80s…a time when things were simpler, perhaps, though not necessarily any easier than they are today. It may seem like an idyllic childhood, but at the time it was not close to fulfilling for the spark and the curiosity that was brewing inside. She had a burning desire to feel like an important part of something; to feel significant and to fulfill a purpose in life.

In her own words “If you are living life day-to-day and feeling like something is missing or could be improved upon, it may be time to take an in-depth look at those thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs that are outdated and limiting your true potential.”

And challenge her own perceptions is exactly what she did! She left her sleepy home town in 1986 and headed to the “Big” city to begin her own journey of discovery. For Rhonda, “exploring her educational pursuits” reads more like a scavenger hunt map than a career plan: she tried General Studies at Red Deer College, then a semester of Business at NAIT. From there, she tried Hairdressing College and then began a 7-year career with the Bank of Montreal by spending 4 of those years with them in Inuvik in the Far North. Her way out of banking was to go to the University of Alberta to explore Dental Hygiene, and from there she tried the corporate world on for size.

All of this meandering about had brought her many experiences, lots of friends, opportunities to meet interesting people, but it wasn’t her niche. She gave it one more try, moving to Kelowna to study Fitness Theory and Weight Training and work in a gym...this was closer to her core, and she realized she wanted to work more on a holistic level, not just the “pretty” on the outside.

Things started to change when Rhonda took an Addictions Counseling course in Kelowna and learned of Rhodes Wellness College. It was about time!

She moved to Vancouver to attend Rhodes Wellness College and graduated with honors. “When I attended Rhodes, I was fascinated with the mental/emotional/spiritual aspects of wellbeing and absolutely fell in love with the concepts behind them. I had discovered my true passion…something that is so close to my heart it just feels like home. This is something that gets me so excited about my own life and how I can truly help others. It is who I am authentically and, it is my purpose.”

Today, she walks her path with confidence, grace, and ease. She brims with a calm energy and vitality. It is all anchored by her understanding of the need to be true to her own core beliefs.

She is the author of “Inner Riches: How to Create the Life and Relationships You Want” and the moving force behind her company, Viva Vitality.

Believe me, this woman knows where-of she speaks: she spent years of her own life playing ‘trial and error’ until she had it nailed! This is why, of course, she is THE perfect guide for anyone interested in finding their focus, to live from a place of power and positivity by seeing how there is meaning in every moment of their own.

Rhonda, it is such a pleasure to know you!
Best regards,
Marilyn
